Re-Appraising the Figure Classes 1-8

Week #1: Course & materials review, safety discussion, introductions

This subject looks at the human form as a means through which to critique/understand and evaluate shifting perspectives while continuing to build skills in two and three-dimensional media (students to select either stream). The subject continues to emphasise the elements of visual language as expressive tools through which to investigate a range of sociopolitical issues.

Week #2: Measuring the figure including the use of plumb lines and gesture drawings to emphasize countours and negative spaces.
