Fine Art applicability in South-Eastern Australia with emphasis placed on following the workshop practices of Renaissance artists

SYNOPSIS

I propose to follow three streams of investigation in my thesis: to re-create the coloured palette of Australian Aboriginals, to replicate paints used by Renaissance artists and to produce a body of work reflective of, and informed by, these investigations - see below: Practical - Research Outcome.

Theoretical. The dissertation will include assembled data and how it was used to achieve particular results in my own work - bridging the gap between raw pigments of the past and present, between the theoretical and practical.
